Japan and Guam from the airplane

View of Japan from the plane shortly after taking off. Since we flew with the military we took off where all the military planes take off, so that was kind of cool.

View of Guam. I love the water and the color it is.
It was fun being in Guam, but there is not really anything to do there. The beach is the best part of it. Cole loved the water and did not want to get out of it even though he was shivering. While we were there, there was a really bad car accident that killed 2 people. That accident blocked the road so we had to try to find our way to the air force base on unfamiliar roads, luckily there are not too many roads and the one we wanted goes in a loop. We did find it but in trying to find it we turned the wrong way and ended up on a dirt road. The dirt was white and the houses are not built very good. they looked kind of like shacks to me. Guam is actually very poor and some places show it. 90% of the money guam gets goes to peoples salaries, then the other 10% is to fix the roads, which are not very good at all. there are stray dogs everywhere because they don't have the money to have animal control. Derrick says Guam is a 3rd world Hawaii. It was fun to go there, but once was enough unless I spent a majority of my time on the beach.
