We decided to go to Okinawa for a little vacation. We got a flight down there on a C-12 which is an 8 passenger plane the military has. We were the only ones on there till we stopped in Iwakuni where 2 more people who got on. Katsuren Castle was one of the first places we went. Notice we have no coats or jackets on. It was in the 70's there.
I didn't know that there were castles in Japan.
ReplyDeleteIt sure does look like a castle, kind of but once you get to the top there are only ruins there. There was a shrine underground that looked like a cave. Other than that there was nothing. This castle was actually an ancient ruin.
